How to Read and Import Your Credit Report

A practical guide to obtaining your credit reports, reading the data, and importing them into ClearPath Disputes for analysis.

Importing your credit report into ClearPath Disputes allows you to organize your credit data, identify potential inaccuracies, and generate dispute letters. Here’s how to get started.

Step 1: Download Your Reports

Visit AnnualCreditReport.com and request your free annual reports from all three bureaus. When downloading, choose the PDF format when available.

Step 2: Supported Formats

ClearPath Disputes supports credit reports from:

  • Equifax — PDF reports from AnnualCreditReport.com or Equifax.com
  • Experian — PDF reports from AnnualCreditReport.com or Experian.com
  • TransUnion — PDF reports from AnnualCreditReport.com or TransUnion.com

Step 3: Upload to ClearPath

  1. Log in to your ClearPath Disputes dashboard
  2. Navigate to Reports in the sidebar
  3. Click Upload Report and select your file
  4. Select the bureau (Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion)
  5. The system will extract and organize account information for review

Step 4: Review Extracted Data

After upload, review the extracted tradelines, collections, inquiries, and personal information. ClearPath organizes this data to help you compare information across bureaus and spot potential discrepancies.

Data Security

🔒 Your Data is Safe: All uploaded files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Files are stored securely and accessible only to you. You can permanently delete your files at any time through your dashboard or vault.
